The Artist

Rachel Feutz is a multidisciplinary artist and educator from Raleigh, North Carolina. Feutz attended Appalachian State University where she explored various studies including cultural anthropology, religion, and literature. Feutz took a few art classes for fun, but after demonstrating potential and passion in her foundational courses a few dear professors encouraged her to fully dedicate herself to art making. The young artist then discovered that her ideas, experiences, and feelings are best expressed through a visual language. She graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in ceramics. 

Her current works reflect internal and external landscapes, and vary from abstract to realistic in style. Her colorful subjects honor the people, places, and objects that she loves the most, as it is a way to celebrate and mourn the bittersweet experience of life.

Feutz practice is based in Spain where she has been living since September 2023.
